    • Culturally Responsive Support: Programs that help you feel connected and included in the SIU community.
    • Early Academic Interventions: Get help when you need it most to overcome academic obstacles.
    • Career Development: Explore career pathways with guidance from professionals and mentors who can help you prepare for life after graduation.
    • Engaging Co-Curricular Activities: Take part in experiences outside of the classroom that will enhance your skills and personal growth.

    Earn as You Learn

    If you’re a CPS graduate at SIU, don’t miss out on this opportunity to benefit from targeted support and earn stipends for your participation. In addition to the academic and career benefits, the CPS Shared Strategy Initiative offers stipends to help ease the financial strain of attending college. Each time you attend a qualifying CPS Scholars event or meeting, please submit the form linked below. Your submission will be reviewed by the event contact, and you will earn $25 for each approved submission. You can earn a $25 stipend for each session you participate in, up to $250 per term. Stipends will be processed twice per term—once at mid-term and again at the end of the term.
