Class of 2030 Convocation

Please join us for Class of 2030 Convocation, an important event to welcome new first-year students and officially begin the fall semester at SIU.
Convocation is open to anyone who would like to attend. All students who attend will be given an SIU t-shirt to wear during the ceremony.
Chancellor's Welcome Fest will begin immediately after Convocation on the Shryock Auditorium lawn (weather permitting). Chancellor Lane invites all members of the SIU community — faculty, staff and students — to enjoy free food, inflatables, outdoor games, music, a climbing wall and more.
