As we continue enhancing our Slate system to better support campus needs, we’ve created this page to track upcoming project requests. Below, you’ll find a list of proposed enhancements and features that have been requested. This helps provide transparency on what’s being considered and allows campus users to see what’s in the pipeline.

Application

• Implement Slate AI Identity Verification process (Fraudulent Applications)
• Replace Out-of-Box with Custom Forms
  • Rebuild sections of the application for both Graduate School and Undergraduate Admissions that are still on the XSLT foundation. XSLT support is ending April 2026

• Build data feed from Slate to Banner for CESL application, eliminating the need for FileMaker Pro
• Build "course" registration processes for CESL student to be self contained in Slate. This would have payments tied to it so CESL could eliminate the use of Quickbooks
• Build data feed to D2L for course creation

Financial Aid
