Understanding Our New World with Lindsey Cormack

Lindsey Cormack, a political science professor at the Stevens Institute of Technology, will join the Institute on Tuesday, December 3 at 1 pm CT for a virtual conversation to discuss her book, “How to Raise a Citizen (And Why It's Up to You to Do It).” 

Professor Cormack will speak with Institute director John Shaw as part of the Institute’s “Understanding Our New World” series.  She will explain why she believes that parents must be at the forefront of civics education and will outline her suggestions for discussing political issues and the operations of government with children.
