Understanding Our New World with Jessica Yellen

Jessica Yellin, founder of News Not Noise and former CNN Chief White House Correspondent, will join the Paul Simon Public Policy Institute for a virtual conversation on Thursday, November 13 at 1 p.m. CT.

Yellin will discuss her career in journalism, her experience covering Washington politics and national campaigns, and her work creating News Not Noise, a digital media platform dedicated to providing straightforward, trustworthy information that empowers audiences to engage with the news without feeling overwhelmed. She will be in conversation with Institute director John Shaw.

Yellin served as CNN’s Chief White House Correspondent, covering the Obama administration, and reported extensively on Capitol Hill and several presidential campaigns. Her work has appeared on ABC, MSNBC, and PBS, and she is the author of the political novel Savannah. With News Not Noise, she is building a new model of journalism that emphasizes clarity, context, and credibility.
