Isaiah “Izzy” Carrington is on a mission to help students discover what it really means to grow up - by living their Unapologetic Passions. From a shy high schooler to an inspiring speaker and coach, Izzy blends humor, heartfelt stories, and practical takeaways to empower students to pursue their passions boldly.

As a teen attending a youth leadership initiative at his high school, Izzy saw a motivational speaker for the first time and made a bold promise to himself: One day, I’m going to do that. There was just one problem: he had one friend, zero confidence, and couldn’t even talk to his crush. He had no idea how he’d get there, but he knew it would require growth. And grow he did. How? Now, that's the tea that Izzy is dying to spill.

Today, Izzy holds a master’s degree in communication studies from Southern Illinois University, teaches public speaking at Harper College, and is a nationally ranked powerlifter. He's back onstage pursuing his dream of speaking to students and telling them what he once needed to hear when he was in their seat.
